Almost There

I have a deep desire for what is beyond me. I struggle with the thought that only if I had one more thing, then I will be satisfied. But, as it is, nothing will satisfy me. I often forget that this deep longing in my soul for something more is placed there strategically for me to long for our Savior, who is the only one who can satisfy. These scenes I paint are places I long to be. Often I get caught up in that desire and forget who the Creator of these scenes are - God.
