Jenna Portraits
I had it pretty easy with this photoshoot—after all, it’s always fun to photograph good-looking people. For these shots, I wanted to experiment with different aesthetics while practicing with my vintage Voigtlander 15mm lens. Typically, a longer lens is preferred for portraiture, but I decided to challenge myself by using only a 15mm and a 30mm lens. Shooting in historic downtown Texas, the golden Texan light was definitely on my side. We primarily used a parking garage for the setting. I aimed for a blend of trendy and retro vibes, so for a few of the shots, I covered the lens with a tan-colored pantyhose to create a golden haze.
