This painting was a truly enjoyable challenge to complete. I experimented with various shades of blue and green, and I was thrilled with how the piece turned out. Painting water is always a challenge, especially when trying to capture its movement and depth, but the process was incredibly rewarding. The depth and perspective in this piece were elemental when focusing on the nature surrounding the water, using layers of light and shadow to create a sense of space and distance. The play of light and reflections, along with the fluidity of the water, made this piece both technically demanding and creatively fulfilling. In the end, the effort paid off, and I’m proud of the way it came together.
